The pink version of the doll has been awarded the Oko-Test seal of approval with a “Sehr Gut” or “Very Good” rating. Oko-Test is a German publication that independently rates products to determine if they are safe for consumers, particularly in relation to health and the environment. Nanchen Dolls have been lovingly stitched in a small town just outside of Kassel, Germany, since 1983. The dolls are made from materials that are sourced from strictly organic cultivation and organic farming. The faces are individually hand-painted, giving each doll its own unique character.
